Discipleship Groups

“Living 360″ is our desire as a community because we want to live in a way that reflects Christ totally. In “Living 360″ groups, we pursue being an accountable community where we’re encouraged, equipped, and challenged to imitate Jesus so that His Kingdom will be internalized and multiplied.

These are small groups of 2-4 people led by an older student or alumni. In these small settings, you can grow deep relationships with God and one another and explore spiritual growth in specific areas.

While each group might elect to nuance what they do together, we encourage everyone to regularly engage with the following questions. We call it the “JOY (Jesus, Others, & You) Plan.”

LISTENING: What are you hearing from God & what makes you believe it is Him? How are you responding ? In what ways has God blessed you – directly or through others this week?

LEARNING: What have you learned from scripture & the Living 360° material this week? Did anything speak to you in quiet time, church, small group, other?

MISSIONAL LIVING: Who did you seek to intentionally bless this week (i.e. sharing a meal, serving, encouraging, etc)? What opportunities do you have to live missionally next week? How are you leading someone towards a relationship with Christ?

PURE LIVING: What are areas of your life (in word, thought, deed, relationship) that you need to turn over to Jesus? Are there areas of sin that you need to confess to God and seek His forgiveness? Are there steps that you’ve taken to pursue purity that we can celebrate this week?

PRAYER: Who’s on your prayer list this week? Who are 2+ people we can regularly pray to come to know Christ as Savior & Lord? How can we be in prayer for each other?
