Conferences
Conferences are an opportunity to learn about and experience God more deeply, make friends, and have fun!
Here is a list of conferences you can look forward to:
- “New Student Retreat“: September 25-27, 2009 – for any student. We join the UT-San Antonio and UT-Pan American fellowships as we look at what it means and looks like to follow Jesus in college in community.
- “Greek Conference”: For Greek Fraternity and Sorority students (and open to those rushing). In late October/early November, join Greeks from all over the nation in San Diego to explore how to be both Christian and Greek.
- “Urbana 2009″: InterVarsity’s triennial student missions conference. It only happens every three years, so don’t miss out on a exceptional experience to encounter God’s heart for the nations.
- “Breakthrough“: February 12-14, 2009. We join all the InterVarsity chapters in Texas, OK, and AR.
- “RECWeek“: In May, after spring finals, it’s a chance to develop spiritually, plan for the following school year, and celebrate after a lot of hard work. It’s like the “Team Party” of conferences.
- “The Warm-Up”: Tuesday-Thursday before First Year Move-in. Reconnect to God and friends as we prepare to welcome new and returning students back to campus. This is a tradition running decades long!
